CVSS v3.1 |
| GoFound through 1.4.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary directories by supplying ../ sequences in the database parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /api/db/create and /api/db/drop, directly or via a victim's browser, triggering os.RemoveAll on directories outside the data directory. |
| Omission of security-relevant information for some Intel(R) Software Guard Extensions Data Center Attestation Primitives within Ring 0: Kernel may allow a denial of service. Authorized adversary with a privileged user combined with a high complexity attack may enable data alteration. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present with special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (low) and availability (low) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (high) and availability (low) impacts. |
| Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with adjacent network access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Filesystem access for attacker. |
| Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with adjacent network access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information exposure. |
| Incomplete validation of extracted archive entry paths in ast-cli's tar extraction logic on Linux and macOS (used when installing the Vorpal ASCA real-time engine and the SCA Resolver) would allow a malicious tar archive containing absolute or traversal path entries to write files outside the install directory. Windows builds were not affected, as the Windows extractor performs this path validation.
Exploitation required substituting the archive served at "download.checkmarx.com". An attacker able to compromise that server and replace the archive could write arbitrary, executable files to arbitrary filesystem paths via this path traversal.
Extraction now validates that each entry's destination path resolves within the working directory and rejects absolute paths. |
| tarfile.tar_filter could be bypassed using crafted link entries, including symlinks with empty or directory-like names, to redirect later archive members outside the intended extraction directory. This allowed a malicious tar archive to cause tarfile.extractall() with filter="tar" to write files outside the destination directory, subject to the permissions of the extracting process.
This is the tarfile.tar_filter counterpart of CVE-2026-7774, which covered tarfile.data_filter. |
| A malicious or compromised Flatpak repository can write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations on the host filesystem via extract_extra_data(). On system installs, the write happens as root. Two issues combine: `files/extra` is resolved via path operations that follow symlinks, and blob names from `xa.extra-data-sources` are not sanitized against `..` traversal. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in Webpro-nl Knip up to 6.44.0. The impacted element is the function writeFile of the file packages/knip/src/IssueFixer.ts of the component Workspace Handler. Such manipulation of the argument workspaces leads to path traversal. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| @fastify/reply-from is a Fastify plugin that forwards requests to an upstream HTTP server. In versions up to and including 12.8.0, the plugin validated proxy paths against forward-slash dot-segments only and then built the target with the WHATWG URL parser, which normalizes a backslash and its percent-encoded form to a forward slash on the http, https, ws, and wss schemes. A path that uses backslash dot-segments therefore bypasses the traversal check and resolves to a different upstream path, so an application that scopes proxying to an upstream prefix, or relies on route guards in front of the forwarding call, can have an unauthenticated request escape the intended prefix and reach other upstream endpoints. The resulting access to unintended upstream resources is primarily a confidentiality impact with limited integrity impact. The issue is fixed in @fastify/reply-from 12.8.1, where the path is normalized and any segment resolving to a single or double dot, along with control characters and ambiguous whitespace, is rejected before the URL is constructed, and users should upgrade to 12.8.1 or later. There is no workaround other than upgrading. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Crocoblock JetFormBuilder jetformbuilder allows Path Traversal. This issue affects JetFormBuilder: from n/a through 3.6.7.1. |
| @fastify/http-proxy is a Fastify plugin that proxies HTTP requests to an upstream server under a configured prefix. In versions 9.0.0 through 11.6.5, when an application uses parameterized prefix and rewritePrefix options to pin clients to a fixed upstream path, the plugin substitutes URL-decoded route parameters into rewritePrefix without re-encoding them. A parameter value that encodes a path separator together with a fragment or query delimiter therefore decodes into real separators and delimiters that inject extra upstream path segments and strip the mandatory suffix the rewritePrefix was meant to enforce, without using any dot-dot traversal. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use this to reach upstream locations outside the intended prefix, leading to path-restriction bypass and, depending on the upstream, server-side request forgery or authorization bypass in the proxied service. The issue is fixed in @fastify/http-proxy 11.6.6, and users should upgrade to 11.6.6 or later. There is no workaround other than upgrading. |
| @fastify/http-proxy is a Fastify plugin that proxies HTTP requests to an upstream server under a configured prefix. In versions 11.6.0 through 11.6.2, the destination validation normalizes literal backslashes before it percent-decodes the request path, so a path that encodes its backslashes and dot-segments survives the dot-segment check and is only turned into backslash and double-dot sequences after that check has passed. When the upstream resolves on a platform that treats a backslash as a path separator, the forwarded request walks out of the configured proxy prefix and reaches a sibling location on the upstream. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use this to retrieve upstream resources outside the intended prefix, so the impact is confidentiality only, and exploitation depends on the upstream's path handling. The issue is fixed in @fastify/http-proxy 11.6.3, and users should upgrade to 11.6.3 or later. This is a follow-up to the earlier prefix-escape fix, which did not account for the encoded-backslash form. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Termix-SSH Termix up to 2.9.2. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /plugin-api/file-manager/transferToHost. The manipulation of the argument destPath leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The shortcut was removed in the standalone File Manager plugin v1.0.0 (transfer engine now always writes over SFTP) and in core v26.10.0. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| http4k before 6.62.0.0-ee contains a path traversal vulnerability in ThymeleafTemplates Caching and HotReload that allows unauthenticated attackers to read files outside baseTemplateDir by supplying ../ segments in ViewModel.template() values. Attackers can influence request-driven template selection so Thymeleaf's FileTemplateResolver resolves escaped paths without containment checks, disclosing any file readable by the server process. |
| A vulnerability has been found in deepset-ai farm up to 0.8.0. Affected is the function WordEmbedding_LM.load of the file farm/modeling/language_model.py of the component Model Package Loader. The manipulation of the argument embeddings_filename leads to path traversal. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A flaw has been found in deepset-ai farm up to 0.8.0. This impacts the function EmbeddingTokenizer.from_pretrained of the file farm/modeling/tokenization.py of the component Tokenizer Loader. Executing a manipulation of the argument vocab_filename can lead to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A weakness has been identified in Aklivity Zilla up to 1.3.4/2.4.7/2.5.0-rc2. The affected element is the function Path.resolve of the file FileSystemServerFactory of the component http-filesystem Binding. This manipulation of the argument params causes path traversal. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 2.5.0-rc3 is sufficient to fix this issue. Patch name: 46a8b15cbea157f7ae8b7cb865809a02fd6b1988. You should upgrade the affected component. |
| LobeHub Chat from 1.84.26 before 2.1.49 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated users to write arbitrary files by supplying unsanitized file names to writeTempFile(). Attackers can create a file record via file.createFile with a traversal name, then trigger document parsing to overwrite application files like startServer.js for code execution or denial of service. |
| Network-AI before 5.15.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in InputSanitizer.sanitizePath() that allows attackers to escape the base directory using sibling-directory paths. Attackers can supply paths whose directory name shares a string prefix with the base, bypassing the unanchored startsWith check to read, list, or write files outside the sandbox. |
