Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Protection mechanism bypass.
In Modem, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to a permissions bypass. This could lead to local escalation of privilege (EoP) if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS09608864 / ALPS09327759; Issue ID: MSV-2958.
The BuddyForms WordPress plugin before 2.10.1 does not properly verify ownership before deleting guest-uploaded attachments, allowing unauthenticated attackers to permanently delete media files uploaded by other unauthenticated visitors.
A malicious actor with local access and low privileges could exploit an External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability found in WiFiman Desktop to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on the host device.
A flaw was found in Kata Containers. In configurations utilizing genpolicy for Confidential Containers guest protection, a malicious host operator can exploit insufficient validation of CreateContainer mount and storage rules. This allows them to mount arbitrary container-rootfs paths over sensitive host locations or provision arbitrary content, potentially exposing confidential information or enabling the acceptance of attacker-controlled input.
Insecure permissions in ProjectMAXS MAXS Main v0.5.19 (versionCode 19) allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily manipulate the app's MAXS command/transport mechanism.
Insecure permissions in Tailscale versionCode 297862600 allows unauthorized attackers to make arbitrary changes to another user's VPN configurations and preferences.
Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in Drupal S3 File System allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects S3 File System versions: from 0.0.0 to 3.12.0.
External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in Drupal Single Content Sync allows Path Traversal. This issue affects Single Content Sync versions: from 0.0.0 to 1.4.19.
Insecure permissions in the ContentProvider component of mhss1 MyBrain v3.1.0 allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily read another user's private notes/tasks/diary content.
Insecure permissions in the ActivityMain component of M66B/Marcel Bokhorst NetGuard no-root firewall versionCode 2026080101/versionName 2.337 allows unauthorized attackers to arbitrarily force a device reset or Denial of Service (DoS).
Insecure permissions in the autosave component of AppML neutriNote CE versionCode 1387 allows unauthorized attackers to write arbitrary files.
Stirling-PDF is a locally hosted web application that facilitates various operations on PDF files. Prior to 3.0.0, POST /api/v1/ai/tools/create-pdf-from-html-agent accepts attacker-controlled htmlContent and passes it to WeasyPrint without CustomHtmlSanitizer, unlike the sanitized /api/v1/convert/html/pdf control path. HTTP and HTTPS resource references can make server-side requests to internal or cloud-metadata destinations, while file references can embed local content readable by the Stirling-PDF process into the generated PDF. The endpoint is reachable without credentials when security.enableLogin is false, and the flaw is distinct from earlier Stirling-PDF WeasyPrint vulnerabilities in older conversion paths. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.0.
External control of file name or path in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally.
Immich is a high-performance self-hosted photo and video management solution. Prior to 3.3.0, the unauthenticated machine-learning /predict endpoint in machine-learning/immich_ml/main.py accepted an options object and passed its values into model construction in machine-learning/immich_ml/models/base.py without restricting security-sensitive parameters. An attacker with network access to the service could set cache_dir to an arbitrary writable path, causing model downloads to write there and causing clear_cache() to pass that path to shutil.rmtree() after selected model-loading failures. Depending on filesystem permissions and the selected path, this could modify files in mounted data locations or recursively delete an attacker-selected directory. The model-name allowlist prevents this issue from becoming arbitrary-model deserialization or code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.0.
| In server mode pgAdmin 4 resolves a server's password file, SSL certificate, key, CRL and SSH tunnel identity file relative to the user's storage directory, but get_complete_file_path() only stripped leading slashes before joining the two. A path such as "../<another user>/.pgpass", set through the server dialog, the REST API or a servers.json import, therefore named another user's file, and connecting used that user's saved passwords, client certificate or SSH key. The sslkeylogfile connection parameter was passed to libpq unchanged, so a path outside storage let libpq create or append a file as the account running pgAdmin.
make_conninfo() also quoted connection parameter values but not their names, so a crafted parameter name could smuggle additional keyword=value pairs past these checks.
The fix requires the resolved path, with symbolic links followed, to stay inside the user's storage directory or the named shared storage directory, confines sslkeylogfile the same way, and accepts only exact libpq keywords as connection parameter names. A refused path or keyword is reported instead of letting libpq fall back to a default.
This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19. |
The Forminator Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Limited File Deletion in all versions up to, and including, 1.55.0.2. This is due to the plugin accepting arbitrary upload field metadata from POST requests in draft submissions without proper validation, which is then used to delete files when a subsequent draft references the poisoned draft via the previous_draft_id parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary non-PHP files within the wp-content/uploads/ directory.
croc is a tool that allows any two computers to simply and securely transfer files and folders. Prior to 11.5.2, the receive-side file-readiness loop in src/croc/croc.go treats any sender-controlled basename beginning with croc-stdin- as a trusted text-transfer artifact even when SendingText is false. This skips askReceiveOverwrite and rename handling for a predictable exact-name collision in the receiver's working directory, allowing a remote sender whose transfer the user accepts to overwrite or truncate a matching regular file through recipientInitializeFile, or to remove and replace a matching destination with an empty file or an in-directory symlink through createEmptyFileAndFinish, without confirmation. The impact is limited to pre-existing names in the croc-stdin- namespace that the sender can predict; other filenames retain the prompt, dotfiles outside that namespace are not reachable, and symlink targets remain confined to the receive directory. This issue is fixed in version 11.5.2.
Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory in Progress Software WS_FTP Server versions prior to 2024.0.7 and 2025.0.4 on Windows could allow an unauthenticated attacker to affect files outside the intended directory.
