A vulnerability has been identified in COMOS V10.3 (All versions < V10.3.3.5.8), COMOS V10.4.0 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.1 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.2 (All versions), COMOS V10.4.3 (All versions < V10.4.3.0.47), COMOS V10.4.4 (All versions < V10.4.4.2), COMOS V10.4.4.1 (All versions < V10.4.4.1.21). The Generic Data Mapper, the Engineering Adapter, and the Engineering Interface improperly handle XML External Entity (XXE) entries when parsing configuration and mapping files. This could allow an attacker to extract any file with a known location on the user's system or accessible network folders by persuading a user to use a maliciously crafted configuration or mapping file in one of the affected components.
CVE-2024-52596 1 Simplesamlphp 1 Xml-common 2026-04-15 N/A

CVE-2024-52800 2026-04-15 N/A
veraPDF is an open source PDF/A validation library. Executing policy checks using custom schematron files via the CLI invokes an XSL transformation that may theoretically lead to a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability. This doesn't affect the standard validation and policy checks functionality, veraPDF's common use cases. Most veraPDF users don't insert any custom XSLT code into policy profiles, which are based on Schematron syntax rather than direct XSL transforms. For users who do, only load custom policy files from sources you trust. This issue has not yet been patched. Users are advised to be cautious of XSLT code until a patch is available.
CVE-2024-54005 2026-04-15 5.1 Medium

The PDMS/E3D Engineering Interface improperly handles XML External Entity (XXE) entries when communicating with an external application. This could allow an attacker to extract any file with a known location on the user's system or accessible network folders by injecting malicious data into the communication channel between the two systems.

Impacted is the function getRootElement of the file springboot/fastbee-server/sip-server/src/main/java/com/fastbee/sip/handler/req/ReqAbstractHandler.java of the component SIP Message Handler. The manipulation results in xml external entity reference. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. A high complexity level is associated with this attack. The exploitability is considered difficult. The project owner replied to the issue report: "Okay, we'll handle it as soon as possible."
CVE-2025-2365 1 Crmeb 1 Crmeb Java 2026-04-15 6.3 Medium
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in crmeb_java up to 1.3.4. Affected by this issue is the function webHook of the file WeChatMessageController.java. CVE-2025-4338 2026-04-15 6.8 Medium
Lantronix Device installer is vulnerable to XML external entity (XXE) attacks in configuration files read from the network device. An attacker could obtain credentials, access these network devices, and modify their configurations. An attacker may also gain access to the host running the Device Installer software or the password hash of the user running the application.
CVE-2025-47293 2026-04-15 N/A
PowSyBl (Power System Blocks) is a framework to build power system oriented software. Prior to version 6.7.2, in certain places, powsybl-core XML parsing is vulnerable to an XML external entity (XXE) attack and to a server-side request forgery (SSRF) attack. This allows an attacker to elevate their privileges to read files that they do not have permissions to, including sensitive files on the system. The vulnerable class is com.powsybl.commons.xml.XmlReader which is considered to be untrusted in use cases where untrusted users can submit their XML to the vulnerable methods. This can be a multi-tenant application that hosts many different users perhaps with different privilege levels. This issue has been patched in com.powsybl:powsybl-commons: 6.7.2.
CVE-2025-66371 1 Iteras 1 Peppol-py 2026-04-15 5 Medium
Peppol-py before 1.1.1 allows XXE attacks because of the Saxon configuration. When validating XML-based invoices, the XML parser could read files from the filesystem and expose their content to a remote host.

CVE-2026-34401 1 Microsoft 2 Xml Notepad, Xmlnotepad 2026-04-14 6.5 Medium
XML Notepad is a Windows program that provides a simple intuitive User Interface for browsing and editing XML documents. Prior to version 2.9.0.21, XML Notepad does not disable DTD processing by default which means external entities are resolved automatically. There is a well known attack related to malicious DTD files where an attacker to craft a malicious XML file that loads a DTD that causes XML Notepad to make outbound HTTP/SMB requests, potentially leaking local file contents or capturing the victim's NTLM credentials. This issue has been patched in version 2.9.0.21.
