CVSS v3.1 |
| OW2 ASM 3.0 before 9.11 contains a quadratic memory allocation vulnerability in MethodWriter.computeMaxStackAndLocal() and computeAllFrames() when using COMPUTE_MAXS or COMPUTE_FRAMES. Attackers can supply a crafted class file with thousands of overlapping exception handlers, causing excessive Edge allocations and an OutOfMemoryError that crashes the JVM. |
| Gitea does not limit the length of the gitignores field accepted by repository-creation forms and the API. Repository initialization splits the field into template names, repeatedly reads the referenced templates, and buffers their contents in memory. An attacker who can create repositories can submit an oversized value to amplify template reads and memory use, impairing availability. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: fsl_micfil: balance mclk enable/disable
hw_params() enables mclk unconditionally and hw_free() disables it
unconditionally, but the PCM core does not guarantee 1:1 pairing:
hw_free() can run without hw_params(), and hw_params() can be called
multiple times from the SETUP state. This triggers an "already
disabled" WARN() in the first case and leaks an enable reference in
the second, leaving the clock ungateable.
Guard both sides with the existing mclk_flag, as fsl_sai.c does with
mclk_streams. |
| Twisted is an event-based framework for internet applications, supporting Python 3.6+. Prior to 26.10.0rc1, twisted.conch.telnet.Telnet.dataReceived appends every byte received after IAC SB to a persistent subnegotiation buffer until IAC SE is received, without applying a maximum length. Telnet option negotiation occurs before authentication, so an unauthenticated peer can omit the terminator and continuously grow the buffer. The resulting memory exhaustion can terminate the process and every service it hosts. This issue is fixed in version 26.10.0rc1. |
| GraphQL-core is a Python port of the GraphQL.js reference implementation. From 3.0.0 until 3.2.12 and 3.3.0rc1, the OverlappingFieldsCanBeMerged rule in specified_rules repeatedly compares fields that share response names and recursively re-compares flattened inline fragments during the validation phase. The prior named-fragment memoization does not cover this path, so nested repeated inline fragments can drive quadratic and worst-case O(n²·m²) CPU work before any resolver or AST-based depth or complexity control runs. An unauthenticated remote attacker can submit a shallow, highly compressible GraphQL query that pins a worker process and can saturate a multi-worker service. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.12 and 3.3.0rc1. |
| toml-node is a TOML parser for Node.js and the browser. Prior to 5.0.1, the toml.parse() compiler's addTableArray() function in lib/compiler.js rescans the complete assignedPaths and valueAssignments bookkeeping sets for every array-of-tables header. Distinct [[name]] paths are not pruned, so a document with many such headers causes quadratic synchronous work and can block the Node.js event loop, denying service to other operations in the process. This issue is fixed in version 5.0.1. |
| Apache Traffic Server can stall a chunked transfer that it passes through with its trailers removed (proxy.config.http.drop_chunked_trailers) until the connection times out, because it waits for the trailer bytes it has already dropped. Trailer dropping is on by default in 10.x. In 8.1.11 and 9.2.x it is off by default, and those versions are affected only if it is enabled.
This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: 8.1.11, from 9.2.5 through 9.2.15, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.4, 10.2.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 10.1.5 or 10.2.1, which fix the issue. |
| Apache Traffic Server 9.2.15, 10.1.4 and 10.2.0 write one unthrottled diagnostic log line for every internal @ header they strip, so a request carrying many such headers makes the proxy write far more log data than the request contains.
This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: 9.2.15, 10.1.4, 10.2.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.16, 10.1.5, or 10.2.1, which fix the issue. |
| Apache Traffic Server can be used to exhaust an HTTP/1.1 origin's worker pool via a truncated HTTP/2 Content-Length value.
This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 8.0.0 through 8.1.11, from 9.0.0 through 9.2.15, from 10.0.0 through 10.1.4, 10.2.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.16, 10.1.5, or 10.2.1, which fix the issue. |
| Open WebUI from 0.9.0 before 0.11.4 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated users with automations permission to stall the instance by submitting unsatisfiable recurrence rules. Attackers can repeatedly send rules like February 30th to the automations create or update endpoints, blocking the shared event loop for seconds per request. |
| Open WebUI 0.11.0 before 0.11.4 compiles user-chosen grep patterns for its knowledge and chat file search tools with a regex engine that expands nested counted repetition unbounded at compile time and caches the result. Authenticated users can have the model call grep_knowledge_files with short nested-repetition patterns, blocking the event loop and exhausting worker memory. |
| Open WebUI 0.11.0 before 0.11.4 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the automation recurrence-rule validator, whose sub-daily frequency guard parses rule text more strictly than the calendar library that executes it. Users permitted to create automations can submit whitespace-folded rules (or, in 0.11.0, lowercase frequencies or omitted RRULE prefixes) that expand per-second synchronously, blocking the shared event loop for minutes per request and on every scheduler poll. |
| Open WebUI from 0.6.42 before 0.11.4 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability that allows authenticated users to exhaust server memory by supplying compressed remote image URLs in chat messages. Attackers can point the image field at a host returning gzip-encoded responses, which get_image_base64_from_url decompresses unbounded, causing denial of service for all users. |
| Mistune before 3.3.0 contains an algorithmic complexity vulnerability in the inline link parser that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust CPU by submitting long runs of unmatched '[' characters. Attackers can send small markdown payloads that trigger O(N^2) parse_link_text and parse_link_label probing, occupying rendering workers for 30+ seconds per 16 KB input. |
| Mistune from 3.0.0 before 3.3.0 contains an algorithmic complexity vulnerability in the inline link parser's parse_link_text function that allows unauthenticated attackers to exhaust CPU with unbalanced brackets. Attackers can submit Markdown containing many unbalanced '[' or '![' characters, forcing repeated unbounded forward scans and tying up worker processes for minutes. |
| MessagePack is the serializer implementation for Python msgpack.org. Prior to 1.2.3, the msgpack-python C extension (msgpack._cmsgpack) leaks a decoded map value when deserialization rejects a key with strict_map_key=True (the default). Repeated malformed inputs can cause unbounded process memory growth and denial of service in applications that deserialize attacker-controlled MessagePack data. Both unpackb() and the streaming Unpacker API are affected. The pure-Python fallback does not exhibit this leak in the reported tests. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.3. |
| Vulnerability in Oracle Essbase (component: Federated Partitions). The supported version that is affected is 21.8.3.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Essbase. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Essbase, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Essbase accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Essbase accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Essbase. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.1 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:L). |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption in SQL Server allows an authorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| Vulnerability in Oracle Java SE (component: Networking). The supported version that is affected is Oracle Java SE: 27. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Oracle Java SE. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Java SE. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited by using APIs in the specified Component, e.g., through a web service which supplies data to the APIs. This vulnerability also applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 3.7 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: xilinx: axienet: Free outstanding DMA buffers on dmaengine stop
In the dmaengine path the driver pre-submits RX buffers and holds
in-flight TX buffers whose SKBs are DMA-mapped by the driver and freed
only in the completion callbacks. On ndo_stop() dmaengine_terminate_sync()
aborts these descriptors without running their callbacks, and the driver
then frees only the ring shells, leaking every SKB still owned by the
engine and its DMA mapping on each ifdown. With 128 RX buffers pre-posted
per channel, the mapping leak can eventually exhaust a limited IOMMU
aperture.
Clear the slot's skb in the TX and RX callbacks so a non-NULL skb marks a
slot that still owns a live, DMA-mapped buffer, and on stop unmap and free
every such buffer.
axienet_dma_rx_cb() runs from the DMA tasklet and re-arms the RX ring on
each completion, so it can race axienet_stop(): a completion may submit a
fresh buffer after dmaengine_terminate_sync() has returned, leaving the
channel armed with a buffer the teardown then frees while the engine may
still write into it (dma_release_channel() does not stop it either). Add a
lock that axienet_dma_rx_cb() holds across the @stopping check and the
resubmit, and axienet_stop() holds to set @stopping before terminating.
Once @stopping is set no callback can arm a new buffer, and any armed just
before is aborted by the terminate, so teardown only frees buffers the
engine no longer owns. |
