CVSS v3.1 |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists because of insufficient input filtering. An attacker can inject a command payload into a BMC function; the payload may execute when the related service is restarted. |
| ATXP Gemini CLI extension through 1.0.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in runAtxp() that allows attackers to execute shell commands through unsanitized MCP tool parameters. Attackers can plant instructions in email or SMS content to inject $() or backtick substitutions into parameters like message_id, subject, or query, running commands as the user. |
| Codefriar sf-mcp through 1.3.2 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute shell commands by supplying crafted Salesforce CLI tool flag values. Because escapeValue() in src/utils.ts fails to neutralize backticks, $() substitution, and other shell metacharacters, these values reach execSync in executeSfCommand and run as the MCP server user. |
| mcp-ffmpeg through 1.0.5 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to run shell commands by supplying crafted videoPath or outputDir values to the resize-video, extract-audio and get-video-info tools. Attackers can embed $(), backticks or a closing double quote in an existing file or directory name to break out of the child_process.exec command string and execute commands as the MCP server user. |
| Kali-GPT through commit a608c74 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in execute_tool() in kali_gpt/tools/mcp_server.py that allows MCP clients to run commands via unsanitized scanner parameters. Attackers or prompt-injected agents can embed shell metacharacters in parameters like target, ports, domain, wordlist, or url, executed via subprocess.run with shell=True as the MCP server user. |
| Dell PowerProtect Data Domain Virtual Edition, Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.8, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.80, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.40, LTS2026 release versions 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.20, contain an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Command execution. |
| HCL BigFix AEX is affected by a Remote Code Execution Vulnerability . It may allow attackers to execute code with the privileges of the affected application or service, potentially leading to unauthorized access, data exposure, or system compromise. |
| An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the SSR TCP proxy/optimization path in Juniper Networks Session Smart Router allows an attacker to corrupt forwarded packet data and potentially cause a data-plane crash via a transit TCP packet with a crafted TCP option length. |
| An Out-of-Bounds Write vulnerability in the TCP header processing in Juniper Networks Session Smart Router allows an attacker to corrupt TCP payload data and potentially cause session desynchronization via a transit TCP packet with an oversized SACK option length. |
| An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in AccessManager in Juniper Networks Session Smart Router and Session Smart Conductor allows an attacker to perform arbitrary file deletion and arbitrary command execution via the deletion of an audit rule. |
| An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command vulnerability in the AutomatedProvisioner in Juniper Networks Session Smart Conductor allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands as root via a specially crafted salt minion ID. |
| An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in AccessManager in Juniper Networks Session Smart Router and Session Smart Conductor allows an attacker with config-write privileges to achieve arbitrary command execution as root in the YANG configuration. |
| Alpine iLX-F511 diagapp Command Injection Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows physically present attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Alpine iLX-F511 devices. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the diagapp component. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-28750. |
| Ultralytics torch_safe_load Command Injection Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Ultralytics. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the torch_safe_load function. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user. Was ZDI-CAN-30122. |
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability exists in the Surfshark VPN login functionality in TP-Link Archer BE230 v1.2, BE3600v1, AX10 v3 and AXE75 v1, allowing an adjacent
authenticated
attacker to execute arbitrary code. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to gain full administrative control of the device, resulting in severe compromise of configuration integrity, network security, and service availability.
This CVE covers one of multiple distinct OS command injection issues identified across separate code paths. Although similar in nature, each instance is tracked under a unique CVE ID.
This issue affects Archer BE230 v1.2 < 1.2.4 Build 20251218 rel.70420 and Archer AXE75 v1 < 1.5.6 Build 20260623. |
| An os command injection vulnerability exists in the boa formWsc targetAPSsid functionality of Totolink X2000R TOTOLINK-X2000R-Gh-V1.0.0-B20250421.1327. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability. |
| A OS command injection vulnerability exists in the boa formMapDelDevice macstr functionality of X2000R (version(s): TOTOLINK-X2000R-Gh-V1.0.0-B20250421.1327). A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability. |
| OS command injection in the root-privileged 'hardware_monitor' helper in DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware v0.3.9.7 through v0.6.6.9 on Android allows a local unprivileged process to execute arbitrary commands as root by writing a crafted line to the Android log (logcat), which the helper reads and passes to a shell eval. |
| Missing authorization in the native binder service 'android.dji.server' (transaction code 1018) in DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware v0.3.9.7 through v0.6.6.9 on Android allows a local application with no permissions to execute arbitrary OS commands as root, because the handler passes a caller-supplied string to system() in the root-privileged 'assistant' daemon without any caller-identity or permission check. |
| The GPIO syscall handlers in drivers/gpio/gpio_handlers.c did not validate the pin argument supplied by a user-mode caller. z_vrfy_gpio_pin_configure(), z_vrfy_gpio_pin_get_config() and z_vrfy_gpio_pin_interrupt_configure() verified only the device object (K_SYSCALL_DRIVER_GPIO() / K_SYSCALL_OBJ()) and then passed the caller-supplied gpio_pin_t straight through to z_impl_gpio_pin_*() and on to the driver. The only pin check in include/zephyr/drivers/gpio.h was __ASSERT(gpio_port_pin_is_supported(cfg->port_pin_mask, pin), ...), which compiles to nothing unless CONFIG_ASSERT is enabled, so in a production build no check existed at all.
GPIO drivers use pin as a shift count and as an array index on the documented assumption that it is a pin the controller supports. On STM32, for example, gpio_stm32_pin_interrupt_configure() turns pin into an EXTI line and stm32_gpio_intc_set_irq_callback() writes data->cb[line_num].cb and data->cb[line_num].data into a NUM_EXTI_LINES-entry array (default 16) in drivers/interrupt_controller/intc_gpio_stm32.c, guarded only by a compiled-out __ASSERT_NO_MSG(); the same function then reads exti_irq_table[line_num] and calls irq_enable() on the result. Other controllers index fixed-size per-pin configuration tables the same way — drivers/gpio/gpio_ite_it8xxx2_v2.c reads an MMIO base pointer out of wuc_base[8] with the caller's pin and performs a read-modify-write through it.
The issue is reachable only in builds with CONFIG_USERSPACE=y (the file is compiled under that symbol), by a user-mode thread that has been granted access to a GPIO device object. Such a grant is intended to authorize control of that port's pins; the missing validation instead lets the thread drive a supervisor-mode out-of-bounds write of a function pointer and an associated void * past a kernel .bss array, and out-of-bounds reads that feed irq_enable() and MMIO accesses — an escape from the user-mode sandbox that can lead to kernel memory corruption, arbitrary code execution, or a crash.
The fix validates pin against the controller's gpio_driver_config.port_pin_mask with gpio_port_pin_is_supported() in every pin-taking z_vrfy_ handler and returns -EINVAL otherwise, complemented by an unconditional pin >= GPIO_MAX_PINS_PER_PORT range check added to the shared z_impl_gpio_pin_*() inlines. |
