CVSS v3.1 |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 2.6.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow is vulnerable to argument injection when invoking Ghostscript for EPS input. EpsImagePlugin.Ghostscript passes a caller-controlled input filename after -f without converting it to a safe absolute path, so a name beginning with a hyphen can be interpreted as a Ghostscript option. An attacker who controls the filename can inject Ghostscript arguments. Arbitrary command execution specifically requires a leading @ argument-file filename and control of the referenced text file containing additional Ghostscript arguments; the reported chain reproduces with the default -dSAFER invocation. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. |
| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.2, FishActivator inherits ViaTemplateActivator.quote(), which uses POSIX shlex.quote() even though fish interprets backslashes and single quotes differently. An attacker-influenced environment path, --prompt, or VIRTUALENV_PROMPT value containing a backslash before a quote can therefore terminate the generated fish literal and execute command substitution when the user sources activate.fish. This issue is fixed in version 21.14.2. |
| virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.14.9, caller-supplied prompt text can become executable syntax in the bash activation prompt. An attacker must influence the value passed to virtualenv, and a user must subsequently activate the environment and draw the prompt. This vulnerability is fixed in 21.14.9. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cipso: adjust cached option offsets when removing CIPSO
cipso_v4_skbuff_delattr() removes the CIPSO bytes but does not adjust
cached offsets for options that follow them.
For example, with a valid 10-byte CIPSO option followed by a seven-byte
RR option, parsing records rr at offset 30. Removing CIPSO moves RR to
offset 20, while the cached offset remains 30. Consumers such as
ip_forward_options() and __ip_options_echo() then access the wrong bytes;
the latter may interpret packet data as the option length and copy it into
fixed-size option storage.
Mirror cipso_v4_delopt() and subtract cipso_len from the srr, rr, ts and
router_alert offsets when they follow CIPSO. cipso_len is the distance
the first memmove() shifts those options. The later header move and
network-header reset relocate the bytes and their offset base together. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
octeontx2-af: validate body pcifunc in rvu_mbox_handler_rep_event_notify
rvu_mbox_handler_rep_event_notify() in drivers/net/ethernet/marvell/
octeontx2/af/rvu_rep.c queues a sender-controlled REP_EVENT_NOTIFY
request body verbatim, and rvu_rep_up_notify() then forwards
event->pcifunc (the nested body field, distinct from the
AF-normalised header pcifunc) into rvu_get_pfvf(), rvu_get_pf() and
the AF->PF mailbox device index without any bounds check.
A VF attached to a PF that has been put into switchdev
representor mode reaches this path: the VF mailbox handler
otx2_pfvf_mbox_handler() forwards every message id including
MBOX_MSG_REP_EVENT_NOTIFY to AF without an allowlist, and the AF
dispatcher rewrites only msg->pcifunc, leaving struct
rep_event::pcifunc attacker-controlled. The sibling
rvu_mbox_handler_esw_cfg() refuses requests whose header pcifunc
is not rvu->rep_pcifunc; this handler has no equivalent gate.
An out-of-range body pcifunc selects an &rvu->pf[]/&rvu->hwvf[]
element past the allocated array and, for RVU_EVENT_MAC_ADDR_CHANGE,
turns into a six-byte attacker-chosen OOB ether_addr_copy() target
inside the queued worker; KASAN reports a slab-out-of-bounds write
in rvu_rep_wq_handler.
Reject malformed requests at the handler entry by gating on
is_pf_func_valid(), which is already the canonical PF/VF range check
in this driver; expose it via rvu.h so callers in rvu_rep.c can use
it instead of open-coding the same range arithmetic. |
| FFmpeg before commit b4c199c contains an incorrect integer narrowing conversion in the AV1 RTP packetizer (libavformat/rtpenc_av1.c). The OBU size is cast to long before comparison against the remaining frame size. On targets where long is 32 bits, including 64-bit Windows, sufficiently large OBU size values are sign-flipped by the narrowing cast, producing a negative value that passes the payload size check. This allows an oversized OBU to bypass the safety bound on affected platforms, leading to out-of-bounds memory access when the oversized value is subsequently used as a copy length. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: chips-media: wave5: Add range checks for dec_output_info
If the driver's dec_output_info contains invalid data the driver can
write in invalid memory. Add a range check for that.
This fixes this smatch error:
drivers/media/platform/chips-media/wave5/wave5-vpuapi.c:588 wave5_vpu_dec_get_output_info() error: buffer overflow 'inst->frame_buf' 64 <= 127 |
| FLTK through 1.4.5 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Fl_BMP_Image::load_bmp_() that allows attackers to corrupt stack memory by supplying an oversized BMP colors_used field. Attackers can craft BMP or ICO files with colors_used above 256 to overflow the 768-byte colormap array, causing crashes or potential code execution. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists inĀ OnCell G3150A-LTE Series. When the SMS management functionality is enabled and configured, a remote attacker with the required privileges could exploit insufficient input validation in the SMS management functionality to execute arbitrary commands on the affected device. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.11 and iPadOS 18.7.11, iOS 26.7.1 and iPadOS 26.7.1, macOS Sequoia 15.8.1, macOS Tahoe 26.7.1. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 27. |
| Core FTP/SFTP Server 1.2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the service by supplying an excessively long string in the User domain field. Attackers can paste a malicious payload containing 7000 bytes of data into the domain configuration to trigger an application crash and deny service. |
| NICO-FTP 3.0.1.19 contains a structured exception handler buffer overflow vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending crafted FTP commands. Attackers can connect to the FTP service and send oversized data in response handlers to overwrite SEH pointers and redirect execution to injected shellcode. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in the /htdocs/web/diagnostic.php endpoint of D-Link DAP1160L A1_FW101WWb04 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via injecting arbitrary shell metacharacters. |
| Adobe Framemaker is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| Adobe Framemaker is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| Out-of-bounds write in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Vulnerability in Citrix UniconOS leading to Persistent Command Execution
This issue affects UniconOS: before 2607.2 CR and before 2603 LTSR CU2. |
| Out-of-bounds write vulnerability in Hitachi Disk Array Driver for AIX and Hitachi Disk Array Driver for Virtual I/O Server.
This issue affects Hitachi Disk Array Driver for AIX: from 01-00 before 01-23-/A; Hitachi Disk Array Driver for Virtual I/O Server: from 01-04 before 01-23-/A. |
| SiteGuard Server Edition contains an OS command injection vulnerability, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands with root or SYSTEM privileges on the system running the affected product. |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop Java JToolkit can allow command Injection and buffer overflow. |
