CVSS v3.1 |
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c` in `nvmet_tcp_free_crypto` due to a logical bug in the NVMe/TCP subsystem in the Linux kernel. This issue may allow a malicious user to cause a use-after-free and double-free problem, which may permit remote code execution or lead to local privilege escalation.
A vulnerability was found in MariaDB. An OpenVAS port scan on ports 3306 and 4567 allows a malicious remote client to cause a denial of service.
A flaw was found in pfn_swap_entry_to_page in memory management subsystem in the Linux Kernel. In this flaw, an attacker with a local user privilege may cause a denial of service problem due to a BUG statement referencing pmd_t x.
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in dbFree in fs/jfs/jfs_dmap.c in the journaling file system (JFS) in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow a local attacker to crash the system due to a missing sanity check.
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in Netfilter Connection Tracking (conntrack) in the Linux kernel. This flaw allows a remote user to disclose sensitive information via the DCCP protocol.
A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s Netfilter functionality when adding a rule with NFTA_RULE_CHAIN_ID. This flaw allows a local user to crash or escalate their privileges on the system.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to directly dereference a NULL pointer in xfrm_update_ae_params(), leading to a possible kernel crash and denial of service.
A security vulnerability has been discovered within rpm-ostree, pertaining to the /etc/shadow file in default builds having the world-readable bit enabled. This issue arises from the default permissions being set at a higher level than recommended, potentially exposing sensitive authentication data to unauthorized access.
An out-of-bounds memory access flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s TUN/TAP device driver functionality in how a user generates a malicious (too big) networking packet when napi frags is enabled. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
A bug in QEMU could cause a guest I/O operation otherwise addressed to an arbitrary disk offset to be targeted to offset 0 instead (potentially overwriting the VM's boot code). This could be used, for example, by L2 guests with a virtual disk (vdiskL2) stored on a virtual disk of an L1 (vdiskL1) hypervisor to read and/or write data to LBA 0 of vdiskL1, potentially gaining control of L1 at its next reboot.
A flaw was found in glibc. When the getaddrinfo function is called with the AF_UNSPEC address family and the system is configured with no-aaaa mode via /etc/resolv.conf, a DNS response via TCP larger than 2048 bytes can potentially disclose stack contents through the function returned address data, and may cause a crash.
A use-after-free flaw was found in vmxnet3_rq_alloc_rx_buf in drivers/net/vmxnet3/vmxnet3_drv.c in VMware's vmxnet3 ethernet NIC driver in the Linux Kernel. This issue could allow a local attacker to crash the system due to a double-free while cleaning up vmxnet3_rq_cleanup_all, which could also lead to a kernel information leak problem.
A vulnerability was discovered in Samba, where the flaw allows SMB clients to truncate files, even with read-only permissions when the Samba VFS module "acl_xattr" is configured with "acl_xattr:ignore system acls = yes". The SMB protocol allows opening files when the client requests read-only access but then implicitly truncates the opened file to 0 bytes if the client specifies a separate OVERWRITE create disposition request. The issue arises in configurations that bypass kernel file system permissions checks, relying solely on Samba's permissions.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IP framework for transforming packets (XFRM subsystem). This issue may allow a malicious user with CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges to cause a 4 byte out-of-bounds read of XFRMA_MTIMER_THRESH when parsing netlink attributes, leading to potential leakage of sensitive heap data to userspace.
A flaw exists within the Linux kernel's handling of new TCP connections. The issue results from the lack of memory release after its effective lifetime. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to create a denial of service condition on the system.
A heap-based buffer overwrite vulnerability was found in GhostScript's lp8000_print_page() function in the gdevlp8k.c file. This flaw allows an attacker to trick a user into opening a crafted PDF file, triggering the heap buffer overflow that could lead to memory corruption or a denial of service.
The Pie Register – User Registration, Profiles & Content Restriction plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'first_name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.4.16 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable when public registration is enabled and the registration form includes a Profile Picture field; the attacker registers via the publicly accessible form (nonce is emitted to unauthenticated visitors) to store the payload, then logs in as the newly created Subscriber to post a comment that triggers delivery to all page visitors.
The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.16. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to export the entire Redux options panel configuration — including API keys, SMTP credentials, licence keys, and third-party tokens — that is otherwise restricted to administrators. Exploitation requires that a theme or plugin registers a Redux import_export field on a user profile via Redux_Users::set_profile(), which causes the nonce to be printed into the subscriber's own /wp-admin/profile.php page source, making it directly readable without any additional privileges.
The Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.2 via the init_routes due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read paid course lesson and topic content without enrollment, retrieve quiz answer keys including the is_correct field before attempting a quiz, and enumerate the email addresses, usernames, and registration data of other users including instructors and administrators. Exploitation requires that the attacker hold a valid Tutor LMS API key/secret pair, which is issued to subscriber-level users through the plugin's API key management feature.
A flaw was found in the Keycloak server's client management component. When a client is created or imported with authorization services enabled, the system fails to properly clear an internal session attribute used during the setup process. This allows an authenticated attacker with client management permissions to bypass security controls and upload a malicious JavaScript policy, which is then executed on the server when an authorization request is made. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to run arbitrary code on the server, potentially compromising the entire system.
