| CVE-2026-98861 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 4.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fprobe: Use guard(rcu_sched_notrace) and check rcu_is_watching() unregister_fprobe() and unregister_fprobe_async() (used by BPF kprobe-multi) rely on standard RCU grace periods (synchronize_rcu() and call_rcu()) to wait until in-flight fprobe handlers complete before freeing the fprobe. However, if an fprobe handler executes while RCU is not watching (such as in the idle loop or nohz_full extended quiescent states), standard RCU does not track preemption-disabled sections. Consequently, synchronize_rcu() does not wait for those executions, which can lead to a use-after-free if the fprobe is freed immediately after unregistration. Ensure handlers exit early when !rcu_is_watching(). Furthermore, fprobe_fgraph_entry() and fprobe_ftrace_entry() previously used guard(rcu)() and rcu_read_lock(), which invoke lockdep on every hit under CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING. This adds overhead and can cause lockdep recursion if probed functions interact with lockdep. Since rhltable_lookup() and rhl_for_each_entry_rcu() use rcu_dereference_all_check() (which checks rcu_read_lock_any_held()), holding preemption disabled via rcu_read_lock_sched_notrace() is fully valid and sufficient so long as rcu_is_watching() is true. Define and use guard(rcu_sched_notrace)() across fprobe_ftrace_entry(), fprobe_fgraph_entry(), and fprobe_return(). This eliminates fast-path rcu_read_lock() and lockdep overhead while guaranteeing safe grace period synchronization. | ||||
| CVE-2025-55654 | 1 Gpac | 1 Mp4box | 2026-10-22 | 5.5 Medium |
| A use-after-free in the gf_filter_pid_get_packet function (filter_core/filter_pid.c) of GPAC MP4Box v2.4 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50215 | 1 Akamai | 1 Guardicore Platform Agent | 2026-10-22 | 4.4 Medium |
| A use-after-free exists in the Windows WFP packet-capture driver shipped with Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) before 7.4. When an IPv6 proxy/redirect rule is active, a local attacker with Administrator privileges can send a single crafted outbound IPv6 packet via a raw IPV6_HDRINCL socket to trigger this at DISPATCH_LEVEL, resulting in an immediate system crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50217 | 1 Akamai | 1 Guardicore Platform Agent | 2026-10-22 | 4.7 Medium |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Windows WFP callout driver of Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent (GPA) allows a local low-privileged user to cause a denial of service (system crash / BSOD) via an outbound ICMPv6 packet containing an IPv6 Hop-by-Hop extension header. When the IPv6 ICMP redirect policy is active, the packet is copied into a buffer that is freed but subsequently passed to a downstream filter. The size of the freed allocation is attacker-controlled (via packet length), enabling kernel pool grooming. Exploitation requires that the non-default IPv6 ICMP capture/redirect policy is enabled for the endpoint. | ||||

| CVE-2026-114042 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-10-22 | 6.5 Medium |
| FreeRDP 3.32.0 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the drdynvc channel that frees a pool-owned stream with the owned-stream deallocator when totalLength is smaller than the chunk size. A malicious RDP server can send a single well-formed Virtual Channel PDU to trigger the free and crash the client during teardown. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98122 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: mdb: Fix use-after-free in vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del() vxlan_mdb_is_valid_source(), which validates MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE and every MDBE_ATTR_SRC_LIST member, accepts the all-zeros address. A source list is only accepted on a (*, G) entry, whose source is the all-zeros address, and for each member of the list an (S, G) entry is derived from it by substituting the source. Entries are keyed by a plain memcmp() of struct vxlan_mdb_entry_key, so if MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE is present and holds the all-zeros address and the source list holds it as well, the derived (S, G) key is byte-identical to the (*, G) key and resolves to the same entry. Omitting MDBE_ATTR_SOURCE is not equivalent, as the key is then left with a zero address family. vxlan_mdb_remote_src_del() removes the forwarding entry of a source before freeing the source entry: vxlan_mdb_remote_src_fwd_del(vxlan, group, remote, &ent->addr); vxlan_mdb_remote_src_entry_del(ent); With the keys aliased, the first call deletes the remote of the entry that owns 'ent' instead of a separate (S, G) entry, and frees 'ent'. The second call then runs on the freed entry, and its hlist_del() reads ->pprev and ->next out of it and writes through them. Adding the (*, G) entry with NLM_F_REPLACE and no source list marks the all-zeros source for deletion and reaches this from the sweep at the end of vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_replace(). BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in __vxlan_mdb_add+0x1cd/0xd70 Read of size 8 at addr ffff888102852500 by task poc/84 __vxlan_mdb_add+0x1cd/0xd70 vxlan_mdb_add+0xc0/0x140 rtnl_mdb_add+0x157/0x2a0 rtnetlink_rcv_msg+0x207/0x5a0 Allocated by task 84: __kmalloc_cache_noprof+0x153/0x360 vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_add+0x2eb/0x440 __vxlan_mdb_add+0x803/0xd70 Freed by task 84: kfree+0x14c/0x3b0 vxlan_mdb_remote_del+0x129/0x1a0 __vxlan_mdb_del+0x4f/0xe0 vxlan_mdb_remote_src_fwd_del.isra.0+0x162/0x1b0 __vxlan_mdb_add+0x1c5/0xd70 The MDB operations are netns-scoped, so an unprivileged user can perform them in a new user and network namespace. Reject the all-zeros address in vxlan_mdb_is_valid_source(), which covers both call sites. A (*, G) entry is expressed by omitting the source, so nothing legitimate is refused. | CVE-2026-63924 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: exthdrs: refresh nh pointer after ipv6_hop_jumbo() ipv6_hop_jumbo() calls pskb_trim_rcsum(), which can change skb pointers. Let's recompute nh pointer to make sure any change won't mess things up. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84727 | 1 Apache | 1 Brpc | 2026-10-22 | 5.4 Medium |
| Use-after-free in the RTMP protocol implementation in Apache bRPC (version < 1.18.0) on all platforms allows a malicious RTMP peer to crash the process or potentially corrupt memory via a crafted Abort message. Root Cause: When processing an RTMP Abort (protocol control message type 2), the RTMP policy implementation deleted the target RtmpChunkStream object. The send path (RtmpUnsentMessage::AppendAndDestroySelf -> RtmpChunkStream::SerializeMessage) runs concurrently on sender threads and dereferences the same RtmpChunkStream object without synchronization. If a remote peer sends an Abort message naming a chunk stream that is concurrently being used to serialize an outgoing message, the stream object is freed while still in use, resulting in a use-after-free. Additionally, deleting the chunk stream discarded its previous message header, so subsequent compressed (type-3) chunk headers on that stream could no longer be decoded. Affected Scenarios: Any application using the bRPC RTMP protocol implementation (rtmp policy), either as an RTMP server or as an RTMP client, where the remote endpoint is untrusted. The attacker needs to send an Abort message targeting a chunk stream id that is concurrently used for sending, which can crash the process or lead to memory corruption. How to Fix: (Choose one of the following options) 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.18.0, which fixes this issue. 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3515 | ||||

| CVE-2026-110753 | 1 Hmbrand | 1 Text::csv Xs | 2026-10-21 | 9.8 Critical |
| Text::CSV_XS versions from 1.46 before 1.65 for Perl have a use-after-free of bind_columns variables when skip_empty_rows skips an empty line in getline. With bind_columns, the parser writes each field into the caller's own scalar without taking a reference to it. When skip_empty_rows skips an empty last line, the parser frees the current field scalar without checking whether it is bound, dropping one reference from the application's variable. The "eof" mode does the same on any empty line. The variable is then freed while the application still references it, so later code uses freed memory and can crash the process. | ||||
